Extreme E announces Kempower as charging partner
The FIA’s international off-road racing series that uses electric SUVs to race, Extreme E, has announced Kempower as its Official Charging Partner. Founded in 2017, Kempower specializes in designing and manufacturing EV chargers and software to facilitate user-friendly DC fast-charging.
In motorsport, quick turnaround times are essential, making DC fast-charging a valuable asset for teams. Kempower’s modular and scalable charging system, coupled with advanced software, is aimed at providing an optimal user experience for Extreme E teams.
Kempower’s chargers were recently demonstrated at the Desert X Prix in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Beyond its participation in Extreme E, Kempower aims to achieve 100% recyclability and a 50% reduction in plastic packaging waste by 2025.
