Indy 500 nets an average of 6.6 million television viewers
FOX’s broadcast of the 110th Indianapolis 500 drew an average audience of 6,635,000 viewers on Sunday.
Felix Rosenqvist’s thrilling victory over David Malukas fell shy of last year’s 7,087,000 average viewers, down 6.4 percent, and peaked at 8,349,000 viewers from 4-4:15pm ET as the Meyer Shank Racing driver beat the Team Penske ace in the closest finish in Indy 500 history.
With the Indy 500 factored into the audience averages across the seven opening races of the season, IndyCar is sitting at 2,383,000 viewers per event, up 9.7 percent from the 2,173,000 average over the first seven races from 2025.
