When activated by water, then stored in an ice chest or refrigerator, slip covers can reach near-freezing temperatures. They’ll gradually return to 20 degrees below room temperature before having to be re cooled.

If they’re used frequently, you can store the slip covers in a refrigerator or ice chest. If only used occasionally, hang-dry them until you're ready to reuse them; to reactivate, soak the slip covers for one hour before using them again.
