OVERVIEW:
- Deep cryogenic treatment permanently affects the whole mass of the treated component. It is not only a surface treatment; it is fully compatible with most of the coatings and surface treatments used in industry
The PROCESS:
- The parts are put in a chamber
- The materials are slowly cooled down to -180°C and, after a proprietary multistage cycle, the temperature is brought back to RT
- The complete process lasts 15 to 40 hours
