World of Outlaws to return to West Virginia Motor Speedway in 2026
The World of Outlaws Real American Beer Late Model Series presented by DIRTVision is set to make its long-awaited return to West Virginia Motor Speedway in 2026.
For the first time since 2013, the premier national dirt Late Model touring series will roar back into West Virginia Motor Speedway for the 10th addition of RACEFEST, a two-day track event staple set for Friday-Saturday, June 12-13, 2026.
Fans can expect two nights of three-wide racing action on the Mountain State’s biggest stage, with the nation’s stars of the World of Outlaws Late Models battling it out for high paydays and championship glory. Friday, June 12, kicks off with a $12,000-to-win program, setting the tone for Saturday night’s high-stakes $30,000-to-win RACEFEST championship finale – one of the region’s richest races.
The region’s summer championship, RACEFEST, promises to be one of the most anticipated events on the area calendar across many divisions, as fans from across the region and beyond flock to Mineral Wells to witness the World of Outlaws’ first WVMS appearance in over a decade.
The redesign and shortening of the facility to its new 3/8-mile configuration has transformed WVMS into a premier short-track destination, creating the perfect setting for the Outlaws’ high-intensity racing product.
“We are beyond excited to welcome the World of Outlaws back to West Virginia Motor Speedway,” said track owner, Mike Hurley. “Our goal with WVMS is to create one of the premier destinations in all of dirt racing. We look forward to achieving this with high-profile events and series like the World of Outlaws. Two huge nights, big payouts, and the best drivers in the country… it doesn’t get any better than this.”
The World of Outlaws Late Models have made five previous visits to WVMS with the list of winners including Jackie Boggs (Oct. 1, 2004, and Oct. 2, 2004), Steve Shaver (May 29, 2010, and May 30, 2010), and Josh Richards (2013).
Support divisions will also be in action over the course of the two-day weekend. Those classes will be announced at a later date. Fans are encouraged to mark their calendars and make plans early, as tickets, camping information, and full event details will be released in the coming months at www.wvmotorspeedway.com.
