Weather forces ASCS Western Plains, 360 Wing Desert Series, tp postpone Cortez Fairgrounds Speedway

With a forecast currently showing near freezing temperatures during race time this weekend in Cortez, Colo., officials with the ASCS Western Plains, 360 Wing Desert Series, and Cortez Fairgrounds Speedway have postponed action to Friday, July 24, and Saturday, July 25.

The next event for the ASCS Western Plains Region is Saturday, May 2, at El Paso County Raceway in Calhan, Colo.

The 2026 season marks the 35th season of competition for the American Sprint Car Series. Spearheaded by the American Sprint Car Series National Tour, the ASCS Nation includes several regional tours, along with cooperating tracks and events throughout the United States.
