Miami to host first US race for celebrity-backed E1 raceboat Championship

Will Smith, LeBron James and Tom Brady are among team owners in E1, the world's first all-electric powerboat racing Championship, which makes its US debut as the 2025 season finale hits Miami this November 7–8.

The E1 Miami GP brings the Championship to American waters for the first time, where fans will witness the E1 RaceBirds ‘fly’ over Miami’s waters as teams battle for a Championship that goes down to the wire.

E1 delivers a new kind of motorsport, blending cutting-edge technology and innovation to create a thrilling, global sporting spectacle.

After six rounds racing across three continents, reigning 2024 Champions Team Brady lead the title charge. But tennis legend Rafa Nadal's team trails by only three points, with just 20 points separating the top four to set up a dramatic shootout for the coveted 'Champions of the Water' trophy.

Adding to the excitement, Team Miami owned by global music icon and Miami star Marc Anthony, will race on home waters.

Cirque du Soleil will treat weekend guests to a unique performance created exclusively for E1, blending high-power acrobatics, artistry, and music to capture the Championship’s electrifying energy.

E1's official ticketing partner TIXR is offering limited numbers of E1 hospitality passes, offering guests an unforgettable, exclusive stylish race viewing experience.

Reserve your exclusive pass now on Tixr.com and be up close to the action, the teams, and the champions. Choose from two-day passes for full access to qualifying and finals, or single-day passes to catch your favourite race moments.

The Miami Seaplane Base provides a stunning stage as pilots compete for glory against the backdrop of the city's iconic skyline.

Nine teams – each featuring both a male and female pilot, including North American talents Sara Price, Rusty Wyatt and John Peeters – go head-to-head in a dramatic showdown that transforms Miami's waterfront into an unmissable spectacle.

As E1’s official cocktail partner, Bombay Sapphire will add a touch of sparkle with guests invited to toast the action with Bombay Sapphire Sparkling Lemon.

John Williams, Managing Director at E1 Series said: "Miami knows how to throw a party, and this is going to be one for the books. Championship racing on the water, celebrity team owners, world-class hospitality, and a winner-takes-all finale that could go down to the wire.

Whether you're a racing fan or just want an incredible weekend experience, the E1 Miami GP is where you want to be November 7th and 8th."
