ECUMaster USA Announces GDI Driver & EMU PRO Training Course
ECUMaster USA has announced a new three-day training program focused on supporting modern gasoline direct injection (GDI) engine platforms using the ECUMaster GDI Driver and EMU PRO engine management system.
Scheduled for July 16–18, 2026, at ECUMaster USA headquarters in Garland, Texas, the course is designed for professional calibrators and motorsport engineers seeking to expand their capabilities with modern direct injection powertrains.
As gasoline direct injection technology becomes increasingly prevalent across motorsport applications, standalone ECU integration presents unique challenges compared to conventional port injection systems. Success requires an understanding of high-pressure fuel systems, injector control strategies, SENT sensor communication, system diagnostics, and calibration workflows.
The ECUMaster GDI Driver extends EMU PRO's capabilities to support modern direct injection engines while maintaining the flexibility expected from a motorsport-focused engine management platform.
"This course was created to provide a practical understanding of how GDI Driver and EMU PRO work together in real-world motorsport applications," said ECUMaster USA. "Our goal is to give attendees the confidence required to successfully calibrate and support direct injection engine platforms using our products."
The curriculum combines classroom instruction with hands-on practical exercises covering:
● GDI system architecture and operating principles
● High-pressure fuel system design and operation
● EMU PRO configuration and setup
● GDI Driver integration
● SENT sensor communication
● Startup procedures
● Diagnostic workflows
A key component of the program will be a hands-on dyno tuning workshop centered around a C7 Corvette equipped with ECUMaster's upcoming Corvette C7 LT1/LT4 EMU PRO-16 Plug-In ECU Kit. Attendees will participate in the calibration, validation, and diagnostic workflows used to support this direct injection engine platform, gaining firsthand experience with both EMU PRO and GDI Driver.
The course is limited to 20 participants to ensure a high level of instructor interaction and hands-on involvement.
In addition to three days of instruction, attendees will receive a certificate of completion, an ECUMaster gift bag, and complimentary lunch, snacks, and refreshments throughout the event.
