MTS Race Car Mechanic Course

The MTS Racing Mechanic Course is designed to train and specialize students in the field of motorsport mechanics through a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on experience with both open-wheel and closed-wheel race cars.

Students will gain a deep understanding of race car mechanics, covering essential technical aspects such as vehicle setup, aerodynamics, and electronics—key factors in optimizing performance on the track. Beyond technical skills, the course also emphasizes the critical role of communication and teamwork, including how mechanics build strong working relationships with drivers under high-pressure conditions.

Training takes place in classrooms, pit areas, and on the track at MTS Indianapolis, using industry-grade equipment and materials. Throughout the course, students will have the opportunity to learn directly from experienced motorsport professionals and visit top companies in the racing industry.

New Course starts August 22nd. Selection Process will happen on August 18th.
