"FSI" Forged 4340 steel I-Beam Connecting Rods
Eagle's "FSI" connecting rods are the newest addition to our rod lineup. Forged from 4340 steel, and equipped with 7/16" ARP 8740 (or optional 2000) bolts, these rods fit nicely between our entry-level "SIR" I-Beams and top-of-the line H-Beam rods. An as-forged beam with fewer machining steps help keep costs low while premium materials and bolts keep strength high. Applications include Ford 302 stroker 5.400", Chevy small block 5.700" and 6.000", Chevy LS 6.125", Chevy big block 6.135" and 6.385", Ford 351W stroker 6.200", and 6.700" and 6.800" commonly used in various stroker applications.
