38mm Inline Adapter – Simple Sensor Installation
The included 38mm Inline Sensor Adapter provides a quick and reliable way to install the thermal sensor directly into your cooling system:
- Fits neatly into your top radiator hose (38mm ID)
- Allows easy sensor installation without modifying engine components
- Two 1/4" NPT ports enable:
- Thermal sensor fitment
- Optional air bleed functionality
- Includes a bung if only one port is required
Flexible sizing options:
- Up to 44mm hose compatibility with 3mm adapter sleeve (Part #18510)
- Up to 50mm hose compatibility with 6mm adapter sleeve (Part #18511)
- *Sold Separately
This design makes installation faster, cleaner, and more versatile across a wide range of vehicle applications.
Key Features
- Digital temperature control with easy push-button adjustment
- Dual relay outputs for independent fan operation
- Automatic fan staging for efficient cooling
- Memory retention of temperature settings
- Designed for direct coolant measurement using included 1/4" NPT thermal sensor
- Suitable for 12V systems (24V compatible with relay change, part #10534, sold separately)
How It Works
- Fan 1 activates at your set temperature
- Fan 2 activates 5 seconds later for staged cooling
- Both fans switch off once temperature drops 5°C below set point
Installation Flexibility
- Direct coolant measurement via included 1/4" NPT sensor (ideal for thermostat housing, radiator, engine block or inline adapter)
- Radiator probe mounting or direct coolant measurement options
- Inline adapter compatibility for hose installation
- Simple wiring with clearly labelled connections (battery, ignition, fan outputs, overrides)
(Refer to installation diagrams and wiring layout shown on page 3 of the instructions for full setup guidance.)
