Performance Damper For Toyota / Lexus UZ Series V8 Engines.
Fluidampr introduces a new crankshaft damper developed at the request of the Toyota / Lexus performance community. The damper delivers superior crankshaft torsional vibration control to provide greater durability and performance when engine modifications are made. Part number 570801 fits a broad range of 1UZ-FE, 2UZ-FE, and 3UZ-FE V8 equipped vehicles. The most commonly modified models are:

The Fluidampr performance damper is OE-sized at 6” diameter and achieves a 5 lb rotating weight thanks to its viscous damper design. It features a one-piece all steel construction and is SFI 18.1 spec for racing. It’s designed to last the life of the engine, requiring no rebuilds or tuning. Engine builders and DIY enthusiasts can enhance performance thanks to the inclusion of pre-drilled mandrel drive 3/8-24x1” UNF bolt holes on a 3.20” bolt circle pattern. In addition, an OE sized 6 rib serpentine accessory drive pulley is integrated into the outer housing. A laser-engraved TDC mark is included for reference.

Fluidampr collaborated with Fig Engineering, a leader in the Toyota / Lexus performance parts, to design and develop a new damper for the UZ engine platform. Crankshaft torsional vibration analysis on a stock 2004 Toyota 4Runner shows up to a 15% improvement compared to the OE rubber style damper, with significant broad gains between 4,000 to 5,500 RPM redline. “We trust Fluidampr to provide the best solution crankshaft dampers for our customer applications based on test data and real-world test, not just speculation,” Mike Figaro, owner of Figs Engineering says. “The work we have done together is proof.
