Honda establishes new UK subsidiary for F1 2026

Honda has created a new subsidiary in the UK, Honda Racing Corporation UK, to support its Formula 1 operations, specifically preparation and maintenance of its 2026 power units, which are to be used by Aston Martin.

The manufacturer is still involved with the support of Red Bull for its current Honda-supplied/Red Bull-badged PUs, but development of Red Bull Powertrain’s 2026 power units is underway with Ford backing.

Honda added that HRC UK will also act as a logistics base for the European region during the F1 season. Recruitment for staff will begin imminently. Honda has long had a facility in Milton Keynes, equipped with dynos and other test facilities, though it has not confirmed that this will remain its base.
