Crandon releases four-day, 58-race schedule

Crandon International Raceway is renowned for hosting premier off-road races and next weekend's Polaris Crandon World Championships will elevate this reputation further, with a total of 58 races taking place over more than 40 hours of scheduled on-track competition.

Commencing on Wednesday, August 27 with the opening of Camp Crandon's gates, the event runs through to Sunday afternoon featuring the 56th Polaris Crandon World Championships and the 10th annual Red Bull Crandon World Cup. The world's largest short-course off-road event is the result of a collaborative effort among three race series, an impressive list of corporate partners, and over 400 competitors from across the United States.

Featuring the Pro and Sportsman classes of the AMSOIL Championship Off-Road Series, the rock-pounding Ultra4 Series, and the crowd-favorite Class 11 category for classic Volkswagen Beetles, the weekend will provide fans with the highest quality of competition the sport has to offer.

Crandon's schedule features all-day practice and qualifying on Thursday before Pro category qualifying, four Champ Off-Road series make-up races and the Crandon Youth Cup presented by Yokohama.

The 56th Lucas Oil Labor Day Parade begins Friday morning in downtown Crandon, showcasing race teams and their vehicles. Following the parade, the AMSOIL Championship Off Road takes center stage with an afternoon and evening schedule. The Forest County Potawatomi Community 'Friday Night Thunder' will feature Ultra4 and Class 11 vintage Volkswagen racing, culminating in the third annual Crandon Pro Lite versus Pro Buggy Cup Race.
Saturday, August 30 is a full day and night of racing, featuring 25 scheduled races. This special day marks the season finale for all AMSOIL Champ Off-Road series competitors. With points championships and Crandon World Championship rings for all Sportsman classes at stake, fans can anticipate the most intense on-track action of the year.

For the eighth time in Crandon history, all Ultra4 USA racing classes, made famous at the annual King of the Hammers event in California, will be competing at Crandon Ultra4 World Championships. Every Ultra4 USA category will compete multiple times over the three-day World Championship schedule, including the one nighttime spectacular of racing, live music, and the Method Wheels Drone Show as part of the 'Hella Lights Rage on the Rocks.'

The 10th annual Red Bull Crandon World Cup Sunday, known as the 'Super Bowl of Short Course,' will feature the sport's fastest machines and top-tier Pro category drivers. Off-road racing's premier athletes will conclude their season with high-stakes, non-points races, competing for the prestigious Crandon World Championship titles. The event's highlight will once again be the Red Bull Cup finale, pitting Pro 2 against Pro 4 contestants for off-road racing's most prestigious prize.
