2027 MotoGP Calendar revealed

The 2027 MotoGP calendar has landed. For a new era of new bikes, 22 Grands Prix will see the most exciting sport on Earth race across the globe from March to November for another record-setting season, taking in five continents and welcoming two new venues to the calendar.

The first is Buenos Aires as MotoGP further strengthens its position in South America. The sport’s return to Argentina follows visits to Brazil for the Season Launch in Rio de Janeiro and our second visit to Goiânia for Round 3. The Autódromo Oscar y Juan Gálvez, in Argentina’s stunning capital city of Buenos Aires, welcomes MotoGP for Round 4 of 2027.

The second is MotoGP’s much-anticipated debut at the new Adelaide Street Circuit, which hosts the penultimate Grand Prix of the year. South Australia will stage a true spectacular for Round 21, with glory sure to be on the line as MotoGP races in a setting like no other – in the heart of the city.

Blending blue ribbon classics with brand new venues and some of the most feted racetracks on Earth, this is how the new era looks as 2027 appears on the horizon. Check out the full calendar below!

ASIA AND THE AMERICAS: LEG 1

It’s a global start to the year as the Season Launch in Rio de Janeiro sees Botafogo Beach host the 2027 season launch. Then we’re back east for Round 1 at Buriram as the now-classic Thai venue opens the season once more – with the packed stands ready to roar. From there we head for the floodlights of Qatar as Lusail International Circuit lights up for Round 2 ahead of a return to Brazil and Goias’ vibrant capital, Goiânia.

Buenos Aires awaits for Round 4 as MotoGP takes on a new venue in Argentina’s capital city, before we go north to Austin, TX, and the USA as the Circuit of the Americas concludes leg one.

THE EUROPEAN RUN: LEG 2

The passion of Jerez’s packed grandstands is next up before France roars the Marseillaise on the starting grid at classic Le Mans. The Tuscan hills of Mugello host Round 8 before Barcelona beckons MotoGP to one of its most iconic cities, and then it’s on to yet another classic for the Dutch Grand Prix at the TT Circuit Assen in the Netherlands. The biggest sporting event in Germany – that’s MotoGP – arrives at the Sachsenring in mid-July, and the awesome stadium section of Brno is the final hurrah before a pause for summer break.

We’re back in action at the behemoth of Silverstone for the British Grand Prix before heading for the hills of Spielberg and the beautiful Red Bull Ring to round out August, which moves up a few weeks to a new slot. The San Marino GP touches down at Misano on Italy’s sparkling Adriatic coast from the 10th to 12th of September before MotorLand welcomes us back to Spain, and then we’re onto the final rollercoaster ride of a stunning mid-season run sees Portimão move up to host the final European round in early October. Then it’s time for another round of flyaways.

ASIA AND OCEANIA: LEG 3

Japan and Mobility Resort Motegi – the hardest braking on the calendar – takes us back east as the run towards the Championship deciders begins. Next it’s a slot switch as Sepang hosts the Malaysian Grand Prix a little earlier in the calendar, with MotoGP heading for the glittering metropolis of Kuala Lumpur for Round 19 in October. Then it’s south to Mandalika on the stunning island of Lombok for the Indonesian Grand Prix, leaving only two more rounds to go to decide champions and legends of the future: Adelaide and Valencia.

South Australia’s debut on the calendar sees it host the penultimate round of the season, adding a new challenge for the grid. Racing through the heart of Adelaide, the event will prove a watershed moment for MotoGP at an awesome new track with a unique backdrop.

The final fiesta of the season then belongs to Valencia once again. The Mediterranean classic rounds out a record-setting season with its unique amphitheatre atmosphere on the 28th of November, concluding another lap of amazing MotoGP action around the sun.
