Introduced in 2006 the 6.2L M156 is the engine that helped make Mercedes-AMG the performance powerhouse that they are today. Using years of racing experience, the engineers at AMG worked extensively to make a statement with what would end up being the last of the big naturally aspirated V8's produced by the company, switching to smaller displacement turbo charged designs in the coming years.
